Introduction

My name is Katie. I am, as of this writing a 20 year-old college student. I’m currently attending community college in order to receive double Associates Degrees in Liberal Arts and Math/Science, and will proceed to go to Animal Behavior College for formal training as a professional dog trainer. My dream, however, would be to afford to transfer to a University and study Zoology in hopes of becoming a Zoologist. Animals and my pets are a huge part of my life, and I want to spend my life and career working with and helping them in any way I can.

I currently live at home with three dogs, two cats, a parrot, and an aquatic turtle. Life can be pretty exciting and crazy when you live on a half acre of land in a 3 bedroom house with seven animals and only four humans; two of which are the only animal caretakers. But for me, it’s a wonderful experience. My pets are like extended family: siblings, children, very best of friends. I wouldn’t give them up for the world!

In this blog I’ll be writing about the antics of my favorite furry, feathered, and scaly friends and all the mischief we get ourselves into, as well as whatever happenings there may be in the animal world. I hope you enjoy reading =]
